Creation
Zed was created by the writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, and the artist Chad Hardin. His name is a reference to the Pulp Fiction character of the same name.
Major Story Arcs
Zed and his friend, Ralph, tried robbing a pawn shop in Coney Island. Harley Quinn and Big Tony were at the store at the time, and Zed called Harley a 'bimbo'. Zed was stabbed in the back with a variety of different knives and daggers.
