Origin

Little is known about Zu Zu Lamar before she stars in the movie, The Magnificent Girl In The Flying Machine, a film about Carol Ferris's grandmother.

Zu Zu flirts with Green Lantern and dances with the Emerald Warrior at the movie after party, making Carol extremely angry at Green Lantern and more likely to give Hal Jordan a second chance.

Creation

Zu Zu Lamar was created by Gil Kane and Gardner Fox for their run on Green Lantern. She is appears to be modeled after actress, Zsa Zsa Gabor.

When Green Lantern shows up at Carol's mansion for a pre-screening party, he is introduced to Zu Zu, who flirts with the Green Guardian. Then later at the after party, Zu Zu continues to flirt and dances with the hero.

This makes Carol angry, but that is all part of Hal Jordan's plan. He is using Zu Zu to make Carol mad at Green Lantern so she will give Hal Jordan another chance.

It is unclear if Zu Zu even notices Carol's anger or if she even cares.
