Beleth is a demon who knew a lot about the Ghost's secret past. He struck a deal with the Ghost to give her the information. In turn, the Ghost had to provide him with a new host body. In the end, the Ghost put Beleth in the body of the White City Butcher who was subsequently caught by the Chicago police and put in jail.
