Jess seems to have a miserable life in the past, having lost her parents and even the child she gave birth too, Ken. Her stepmother, who she believed to be honest, betrayed her by making her sign adoption papers without her knowledge.

After she was transplanted with a new heart, without understanding why, she woke up with superhuman physical strength and super speed. Other people who have received a body part (lung, eye, hand...) developed extraordinary abilities as well.

Organ donor manager and therapist Paula Sanjeno, during a group therapy, meets these individuals to better understand what is happening to them. Jess is part of this group and, more than searching answers, she wants to get her son back.
