First issue:
Sven is a former member of the Voltron team. He had left them early on in its career. Although he has quit the Voltron team he occasionally helps the Voltron team battle the evil King Zarkon and his son Prince Lotor. He has battle many of Zarkon's minions in hand to hand combat. Even though once Sven said vultures were "Ugly birds" ; they have changed his thinking by saving him from death once and said that he would always think of them to be beautiful. His goal is to do what ever it costs to protect Planet Arus from evil forces.
