Clarabelle Cow
Clarabelle is an anthropomorphized bovine and one of the oldest Disney animated characters, having first appeared in 1928. She is one of the regular characters in the Disney animated circle of friends and family, though she has appeared on sporadically as a featured character.

Clarabelle is a supporting character in all forms of Disney media. She is usually portrayed as one of the closer friends of Minnie Mouse and the girlfriend of Horace Horsecollar. For a time she was portrayed as a girlfriend to Goofy, though the true nature of bovine-canine relations was never really explored (all other Disney characters date within their own species.) As Disney comics throughout their history have been primarily of a self contained version, there is generally very little character development beyond the character’s pre-defined traits, and as a supporting character Clarabelle has even less character defining moments. The exception to this exposure are comics featuring Disney characters printed in Italy where Clarabelle maintains a strong following and is usually featured as one of the main Disney characters.
