Hard Haid Moe is a hillbilly acquaintance of Fethry and Donald Duck, introduced in 1964. He has the stereotypical mean temper and a loaded gun. He keeps trying to get the Ducks to leave him alone but they are mostly oblivious to the fact their "friend" does not particularly care for them.
He is one of the rare human and non-dogface characters from Disney comics.
The character has many stories produced in Brazil (where it was portrayed with elements of the caipira, a kind of Brazilian hillbilly), where he had a comic book and in Italy, where he is published in the comic book Topolino (Mickey Mouse's title).
