Origin

Iridessa like all fairies was born from the laughter of a newborn child. When she arrived at Pixie Hollow was deemed a light fairy, being capable of moving and bending any forms of light.

Major Story Arcs

Iridessa made fast friends with Tinkerbell when she arrived to Pixie Hollow, and tried to teach her how to move light during Tinkerbell's personal crisis of not knowing what type of fairy she'd like to be.

She accompanied the main group of fairies in saving Tinkerbell from a butterfly scientist. Iridessa briefly lost her abilities to bend light when infected by artificial pixie dust, giving her the powers of a garden fairy. Although she regained her original light powers soon after.

Iridessa was a supporting character in the sequel comics, she was nearly killed by an owl, and appointed by Queen Clarion to solve a way to get rid of the bird. She worked with Tinkerbell to make a loud noise to scare the owl away from Pixie Hollow.
