Morty Fieldmouse is the son of Amelia Fieldmouse, sister of Mickey Mouse. He first appeared with his brother Ferdie in a comic strip by Floyd Gottfredson on September 18, 1932.
Morty is a bit more independent than Ferdie, having his own friends and hobbies. Ferdie seems to be more of a tag-along.
