Origin

Periwinkle was born from the same newborn child's laughter as Tinker Bell, however they were separated on their way into Pixie Hollow. Periwinkle became a Winter Fairy.

Major Story Arcs

Tinker Bell journeyed in the Winter Woods, the home of the Winter Fairies where she met Periwinkle. The two discovered the truth of them being sisters, through the magic of their wings and became fast friends. They ended up spending the day together in the Winter Woods, where reportedly warm fairies couldn't survive, however Tinker Bell took her chances to be with her sister.

The next day the fairies created an ice machine so Periwinkle could survive going into the warm side of Pixie Hollow, however after it is knocked over it starts to freeze all of Pixie Hollow. The fairies had to work together to try to save Pixie Hollow. Tinker Bell in order to find the way to stop it needed to go through the Winter Woods again and saved the day. Periwinkle was happy that she could go back to spending time with her sister again, but Tinker Bell reveals her wings broke during her second journey into the woods. Periwinkle's wings being identical was capable of fixing Tinker Bell's.

Periwinkle afterwards was dropped from the Tinker Bell films, and only appeared one time in the sequel comics, which was a retelling of the original animated movie.
