Origin

Nathan was a loyal member of Louis Darund's gang in New Orleans, then he met Susan Greene and the gang member wanted to quit and marry his true love. Louis gave his friend his blessing but then later when Nathan and Susan were out for dinner, Louis gunned Nathan down in the street.

Nathan's story would be over there, if not for the fact that Dr. Herbert West was there when Nathan was killed. He then stole the body from the morgue and took it back to his new lab. There Herbert turned Nathan into The Valusian, a almost mindless muscle that obeyed Herbert's commands

Creation

Nathan and the Valusian were created by Keith Davidsen for his mini series Reanimator.
