Origin
While helping excavate Mount Rushmore, where the face of Abraham Lincoln was to be placed, construction worker Jack Bradley was caught in an explosion and buried alive in ruble where he was covered by a mysterious dust. Seemingly doomed, he suddenly found he had the strength to force his way out from under the avalanche. He soon discovered that whenever he touched metal or became angry his skin would become bright red and start giving off sparks for a short period of time. In this state, he would be indestructible and inhumanly strong.
The series was drawn by Harry G. Peters the artist who also drew Wonder Woman.
