Herman Hedning (Lit. Herman the Heathen, but he is called Marwin Meathead in translations) created by Jonas Darnell first appeared as a back-up strip in Fantomen in 1988. He quickly became popular enough to get a couple of one-shots, and later an ongoing title in 1998.
