Nicky grew up in the same neighborhood as Franky and tormented him daily due to the clothes his mother forced him to wear. Due to Nicky's general "ruthlessness" he obtained a small following who aided him in his bullying ways.

Major Story Arcs
The Goon Volume Three
A flashback tale reveals the first meeting of The Goon and Franky, who Nicky was bullying at the time. Unfortunately for Nicky, The Goon doesn't take kindly to bullies and beat the ever-living snot out of Nicky. Eventually Nicky tires to bully Franky once more; however, Franky has learned some new tips and tricks from his pal, The Goon, and is able to beat Nicky up in an act of self defense.
