Origin

Warlock devoted his life to fighting crime and/or evil with the help of The Golden Hand, a sort of magic wand with a golden fist on the end that when Warlock said the magic word "Abraxas!" grew to giant size and could fly around doing his bidding, and the Mystic Lamp of the Gods which could produce a light that no mystically evil being could stand. He was also aided by one of Odin's talking ravens, Hugin.
