Origin

Donald Hastings is the chief to the radio station.  One of his employees is none other than Wonder Man in disguise as mild mannered Fred Carson.  Fred is in love with his daughter Brenda Hastings but she is engaged.  All except the engagement Donald has no idea.

Creation

Donald Hastings was created by Will Eisner.  His only appearance in Wonder Comics is due to DC Comics suing Fox Feature Syndicate for copyright infringement on their Superman Character.
