Origin

Reggie Berold is known as Playboy Berold and is Brenda Hastings fiance.  He is very wealthy and a bit of a coward and cad.

Creation

Playboy was an obstacle in the life of Wonder Man.  Wonder Man Sometimes known as the first " Superman Clone" was wiped out after his first appearance when DC Comics sued Fox Feature Syndicate. This also meant that Playboy was not to be seen again either.  The character was created by Will Eisner.
