The offspring of one of the gods of Avalorr and a Fir Bolg, Aenyr was always trapped between worlds, belonging to neither. He focused on the acquisition of power, learning the arcane arts at the heel of the great sorceress Mother Ket.

Eventually, Aenyr made his way into Avalorrian society, eventually even gaining access to the High Court. Cunning and silver-tongued, Aenry soon earned himself a seat and a voice in the Court. However, as always, his ambition proved his downfall as his plans came to the attention of the thunder god Taranis, who was instrumental in halting them.

Aenyr next sought the power of an ancient elder god named Esh-Kar, who granted Aenry command and control of a force of newly-created Fire Trolls to lay siege to the city of Avalorr itself. The gods stodd against this attack, and eventually defeated the Fire Trools, as well as capturing Aenyr himself. But Aenyr had planned for this in advance, and the Aenyr the gods captured was actually a magically-transformed Fire Troll.

The true Aenyr himself escaped capture, and remains at large, plotting the downfall of the gods.
