Major Story Arcs

Jolanda Radford has always wanted to help those in need more than anything else. A genius in many scientific fields, Radford chose a career in medicine. Her reputation and record for saving lives became so renowned that when The First Guard reformed in the aftermath of The Decimation Event, she was assigned to be their chief medical officer.

Feeling that her skills alone wouldn't be adequate given the environment into which she was now thrust, Radford used her own advanced knowledge, skills, and the resources now at her command to fashion an advanced suit of armor specifically designed to aid her in her medical capacity and in field operations requiring First Aid and other rescue operations. The armor itself doesn't possess any overtly offensive capabilities, though she has from time to time been forced to improvise the suit's abilities offensively.

As Caduceus, Radford works primarily in a garrison capacity in the team's headquarters, Liberty Plaza, and is only deployed to the field when absolutely necessary.

Powers and Abilities

Caduceus utilizes an advanced suit of armor designed for rescue, first response, and the medical needs of individuals in any given situation.

The suit allows her to fly, and generate force shields that can protect herself and others. The suit also possesses advanced medical diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including powerful built-in MRIs, X-ray generators, scanner, and cryo-units which she can turn into offensive weapons if the need arises. The suit is also capable of running lab analysis on blood and other substances, which it then vaporizes following the conclusion of the tests to prevent any contamination.
