Major Story Arcs

A former Navy SEAL, Joe had been rescued from drowning in his youth by the dragon-like creature known as Bakunavva. His mother, proficient in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, trained him from an early age. His skills, coupled with his near-drowning experience, earned him the name "Son of the Dragon".

Joe often deals with mystic threats, and serves as a proud member of The G-Men. He and Sgt. Flag have become fast friends, and often compete against one another in friendly games of one-upmanship.

Powers and abilities

Many of Joe's abilities remain unclear, though he has been observed to possess exceptional strength and stamina, the ability to see clearly in near-complete darkness, as well as being able to hold his breath for far longer periods than even most deep sea free divers.

Joe's primary power is the ability to channel his own personal energy into his bladed weapons ("The Fangs of Bakunavva"). When charged, these blades strike for devastating effect, and can cut through even the most durable of materials with relative ease.
