History

The Man in Black, sometimes also known as Fate, Kismet, or Luck, was a mysterious individual who, often at the behest of a woman known as The Weaver, would appear out of seemingly nowhere, and hidden from their knowledge, interfere in the fates of people, often with horrific results, though it had to be said that most of them got what they deserved. Sometimes however his actions seemed arbitrary and even cruel.

Occasionally his actions were interfered with by Cupid and the Goddess Venus. The exact reason for his and the Weaver’s interest in these people and their fates was never revealed.
