After arriving at the Omega Bunker on Ki-Aleta, Backbeat, Gizmo, and Dealer set up the holomatter generators in order to distract the bunker's Omega Guardians while Hot Rod and Download tunneled their way into the chamber where the Magnificence was. Something went wrong with the however, and the Omega Guardians ended up killing everyone except Hot Rod and Dealer.
It was later revealed that Dealer had actually betrayed the unit by sabotaging the generators, and even personally killed Backbeat by shooting him in the back.
