Under the orders of Emirate Xaaron, Chameleon was sent on a spying mission to investigate reports of off-worlders in the Cybertronian city of Tyrest. He discovered there was an alliance between some aliens and the Decepticons but was captured before he could report back. Thrown into the Jekka Amphitheatre he was forced to face the champion fighter, Hooligan. Despite putting up a brave fight Chameleon was out-fought and over powered and was eventually killed by Hooligan.
