Doublecross' alternate mode was designed to allow each of his heads to process input individually in order to maximize efficiency, but an unforeseen side effect of this was a split personality that carries over even to his robot form.
It's never certain just who is in charge at the time when talking with Doublecross, and just which of his personalities might or might not be worth trusting.
