IDW Publishing continuity

Download was among the group of Autobots being lead by Hot Rod on Ki-Aleta. While the other Autobots were busy distracting the omega guardians, who guarded the Magnificence, Hot Rod and Download sneaked into the Omega Bunker where it was contained. When they saw the magnificence, Download was amazed by it and felt he couldn't take it but Hot Rod reminded him that if they Decepticons got it, they would have a roadmap to everything exploitable in the universe. Download got to work and got the containment field down, but as he did, the holo-matter projectors, which were being used to keep the omega guardians busy, malfunctioned so they were noticed by them and Download was shot down and killed by two of them omega guardians.
