Mutt is the dog handler of the G I Joe team. He and his dog Junkyard are trained in all K-9 areas. There is one thing you need to know and that is Junkyard is a trained K-9, but Mutt is the most dangerous of the pair.

Current Events
Mutt and Junkyard first appeared in the GI Joe comic series #17 when GI Joe was chasing Cobra in the Bayou and that is also the appearance of Zartan and the Dreadnoks. Mutt and Junkyard are also in the 80s afternoon cartoon GI Joe Real American Heroes. In addition to being featured in the ongoing G.I. Joeseries, the character is also a background member of the G.I. Joe team in the Danger Girl/G.I. Joe crossover.
