Origins

The only reason anyone pays The Great Ancient Barque of Fairyland a visit is to see the Council of Elders, because they hold court inside the might talking tree. According to The Great Ancient Barque, "many beings have placed the crown upon their heads during the millennia in which Barque has been the holder of the council and all must give the password, before gaining entry."

Creation

Barque was created by Skottie Young for his I Hate Fairyland series.

Major Story Arcs

Madly Ever After

Queen Cloudia comes to see the Council of Elders but must first spend time talking to Barque before the tree let her in, only after she said the password, Pizza.

Sadly Ever After

Larrigon Wentsworth III and Duncan Dragon go to see the High Council but Barque won't admit them without the password, which neither knows, but when threaten with fire, Barque opens up and lets the two pass.
