Charity Sinclair
One of Director Oswald's loyalists at the Department of the Truth
Origin
Charity Sinclair was the daughter of a sham evangelical pastor, who was using his position to milk donations and avoid taxes. Despite this, his daughter was raised as a true believer. So much so, she believed the displays at her father's creationist theme park depicting dinosaurs and early man living side by side. Her belief manifested dinosaurs that started picking off her father's investors. She believed it was due to their sins and that God was protecting her. When members of the Department of Truth came to her rescue, she accompanied them back to their headquarters where she was cared for and trained. However, they kept her isolated due to her strong beliefs.
Creation
Charity Sinclair first appears in The Department of Truth #0 by James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds, which was published between issues 33 and 34.
