Crystal Man's entire body is composed of an opaque red crystal. He can manipulate the crystalline structure of his body to alter his physical form in both size and shape. He is unaffected by high heat, withstanding temperatures of molten rock (over 1000 degrees F). When shattered, Crystal Man can also reform his body, and can break himself apart at will. He has demonstrated the ability to shatter his body into smaller copies of himself.

Crystal Man also posesses high levels of intelligence, and demonstrates expertise in a variety of fields. He is also the skilled and capable leader of Mystery Incorporated.
