The Hinano brothers killed Donnie because he wouldn't give up the location of the safe house. They buried his body by a tree and that is where Toni Chu dug it up and ate it to learn the location of the safe house.
It turned out that Raymond Kulolo wanted the location and Toni finding the body and leading him to the safe house and Poyo was all part of Kulolo's plan.
