Fausta, a close friend of Ellison Lane, is a podcast creator. Although they are not in a romantic relationship, their occasional physical closeness makes them more than just friends.

While they were on their way to Pittsburgh, Fausta revealed to Ellison that his brother, Gibson, had just been arrested after killing nearly 60 of his neighbors and live streaming the entire event. Shocked, Ellison drops Fausta off before heading directly to the prison where Gibson is being held.

Before the authorities could search the house where Gibson lived with his grandmother, Fausta sneaks in unnoticed, hoping to capitalize on the tragedy by producing a podcast that could make her famous. However, PH34R is already inside, secretly following her with the intent to kill her. As Fausta takes several photos of the crime scene, she notices that Gibson’s computer screen is still on. Wanting to access the internet and publish her podcast, she sees login credentials near the screen and connects to the network. Unknowingly, she accesses the Undernet, where she becomes paralyzed by the disturbing content displayed on the screen. Instead of killing her, PH34R lets her live, reveling in the idea of having found a recruit for their cause.

Not long after, Darren and Amanda arrive at the house, intending to burn it down, when they realize someone is inside. They manage to pull Fausta out of her trance just in time. Meanwhile, PH34R, who had stepped outside, sets the house on fire using the gasoline Darren and Amanda had spilled. The three barely escape before the flames consume the building.

Deeply shaken by what she saw in the Undernet, Fausta is taken to a hotel rented by Gabriel, which serves as their headquarters. There, Liam and Yoshi attempt to "exorcise" the lingering effects of the Undernet before they become permanent. Their method involves sensory overload—blasting loud, energetic music and flashing positive images repeatedly—to disrupt the brain’s ability to process the horrors it witnessed. It had worked for them 25 years ago, and fortunately, they succeed in bringing Fausta back.

As she regains awareness, Fausta is relieved to see Ellison, who had just finished being interrogated by Liam. While Gabriel explains the situation in detail, PH34R suddenly enters the room. To their shock, they discover that PH34R is none other than Gabriel’s long-lost sister, Samara Winter. At Gabriel’s request, Fausta and Ellison leave the room to allow him to speak privately with his sister.

Afterward, Fausta and Ellison leave the hotel, taking Gabriel’s car to escape. Ellison is determined to find one of his sisters, hoping she might be able to help them.
