Origin

Stacy Wohl was a ballerina with the Nevada Ballet Theatre. By her mid 20s, her career was effectively stagnant. Stacy became embittered and obsessed with a younger dancer named Ariel Wick. One night while training together, Stacy accidentally unleashed a trapped entity called the Fright. After leaving Ariel Wick badly beaten, Stacey tried to fight back the influence of the Fright. She even denied Ariel's murder. She remained in a state of flux with the Fright; able to access its power, but never fully possessed. Now on the run from the law, Stacy started the mercenary unit called the Desolators.

Powers & Abilities

Frightside can control and manipulate "fright matter", a dark amorphous material generated by the interdimensional entity known as the Fright. Though typically creating offensive and defensive constructs, the exact limits are unexplored. The Fright also grants its user enhanced strength, speed, resilience and vision, invisibility in low light conditions and a healing factor.
