Origin

Geoff, pronounced Jeff but spelled different, lives in the real world and works as the manager of Dragon Dogs. He has made the mistake of hiring Gert but is able to fire her before she can cause any real damage.

Creation

Geoff was created by Skottie Young for his series I Hate Fairyland.

At some point Geoff makes the mistake of hiring Gert to work at Dragon Dogs. He puts her in charge of taking out the trash, where he catches her talking to the rats. He puts her on register, but she starts to daydream about murdering the patrons and that is where Geoff draws the line. He fires her on the spot, and this sends Gert farther down her real-world spiral.
