Origin

Heavy is a first generation Atomics whose powers emerged following the Trinity Nuclear Test. In the 1960s he became a White Panther-style radical who champion atomics rights. In order to achieve complete sovereignty Heavy founded Haven, a floating micro-state strictly for atomics.

Creation

Brother Raymond 'Heavy' Harris was created by Kieron Gillen (W) and Caspar Wijngaard (A) for The Power Fantasy. Heavy was inspired by Magneto and The Dude.

Power and Abilities

The Singularity that Walks Like a Man: Heavy possesses near-perfect control over gravity on both a macro and micro scale.

• Gravity Manipulation: Heavy can influence the gravity over large territories from city blocks to continents. Heavy has caught a piece of Europe after it was destroyed by The Queen, redirected a comet capable of destroying the earth, track and destroys satellites.
  • Force Field: Heavy can warp space around himself and others create forcefields. He can reverse force fields on others to compress them into meatballs.
  • Light Manipulation: Can create his own aurora borealis
  • Singularity Creation: As his name suggests Heavy can create black holes. The floating fortress Haven is anchored by a singularity. These singularities can disrupt telepathic powers even from the world's strongest omnipath Etienne. Heavy attempted to kill fellow superpower Eliza Hellbound by creating a singularity in her brain.
• Regeneration: Although not unkillable Heavy is capable of healing from many injuries that would be fatal. He has survived being bisected by space lasers by literally pulling his physical form back into one piece.
