Danny was granted powers by an accident involving Supreme and Thor's hammer. However, he was not the first. Charles Flanders was the original Kid Supreme.

First issue:
Kid Supreme along with Probe went to Supremacy where they met all variations of Supreme and his supporting characters. There, Kid Supreme meet Sally Supreme (an early version of Suprema) and announced their engagement and decided never to leave Supremacy. At some point before Supreme left Supremacy, Kid Supreme changed his mind about staying in his paradise limbo and wanted to join Supreme in his new "revision". He was, however, not allowed to return because he was a secondary Supreme. Despite this, Kid Supreme went through the Golden Doorway and returned. He later joined a new Brigade team.
