Origin

35 years ago, Langsham opened Mother Clucker's chicken restaurant, but three years ago the F. D.A. shut it down along with all other chicken joints due to the avian flu. This is something Langsham and the rest of the neighborhood held a grudge about.

Langsham was created by John Layman and Rob Guillory for their series Chew.

While Agent Tony Chu is looking for former Agent Dan Migdalo he sees Langsham sitting outside the now closed Mother Clucker's. Langsham gives Chu a hard time blaming the FDA for shutting down his restaurant.

Later, Langsham is seen buying chicken from D-Bear with the intent of reopening Mother Clucker's and disobeying the law.
