Major Story Arcs
2025 Tournament

For six months, Torres was visited by agents of a wealthy family representing Massachusetts. This family was one of 13 wealthy families, each representing an original American colony that has been secretly controlling the country since 1775. Every five year, these families choose a killer to fight in a last man standing competition with the winning family getting to rule the country until the next tournament. Each killer would be assigned a special weapon, his being a gun. It wasn't until the matriarch of the family approached him that Torres was convinced to fight. She had offered to clean the slate and give him his life back.
Torres managed to get the first kill of the tournament when he took out Leopold Strong (the "Hammer" killer). Next, he crossed paths with the Fox Mask Killer (the "Sword" killer). They beat on each other pretty good, until they were stuck in a standoff, both having a killshot. Fox managed to stab him causing Torres to eventually bleed out and die. He gave his gun and mask to a nearby EMT, who he could tell was a veteran. He warned her about the tournament and told her to protect herself with his dying breath.
