It all began around the turn of the third Pretendury, Pervis found his first human world relic, a small child’s toy. From then on the packrat became a collector of anything from the human world.

Creation

Pervis Peddlesteal was created by Skottie Young for his series I Hate Fairyland.

Gert and Larry come to Pervis’s abode in attempt to get Gert back to her home. Things seem promising as Pervis has vast collection of human world items, and he knows a way that might get Gert home.

Pervis has one request, when Gert dies he gets her body to stuff and put in his living room, stating that a human body would complete his collection.

When Gert agrees, Pervis leads her and Larry to a van that should be able to get them to the human world, but there is one small problem, the van needs fuel, and the only powerful enough in Fairyland is dragon pee.

Pervis knows a thing about dragons and they only pee once or twice in their lifetime so when a dragon falls out of the sky needing to take a leak, Pervis hooks him up to the gas tank.

Unknown to Pervis, Gert and Larry the dragon is really Duncan and when the van takes off it falls into the forest nearby. Pervis is concerned, not for Gert’s safety but for the state her dead body maybe in.
