Origin

Rascal Randy was a popular cartoon character created by Elias Friedman, a former staff animator for Daily Pictures who started his own studio centered on Randy. When Roy Daily of Daily Pictures learned Randy was created on his company's time, Roy stole the character from Friedman. When Friedman attempted to set fire to his old studio before Daily could take it, Daily locked him inside, killing him. Friedman's pregnant wife attempted revenge on Daily at a red-carpet event for the Rascal Randy premiere. This got her locked up in a mental institution, where she eventually gave birth.

Creation

Rascal Randy debuts in Exquisite Corpses #1 by James Tynion IV, Michael Walsh, and a nine-person writer's room.

Major Story Arcs

Original Killing Spree

Betty Kutner in Los Angeles
Bob Givens in Alburquerque
Dick Berger in Oklahoma City
Fred Silver in St. Louis
Witt Tillman in Indianapolis
Mel Lionke in Columbus

When he arrived in Aurora Springs, he killed local bully Walt Wilkins and his mother Wilma Wilkins.

2025 Killer Tournament

Randy was recruited for a last man standing tournament of killers. He was recruited by a wealthy family from New Jersey, one of 13 families representing one of the original 13 colonies. The winning family gets to secretly control the country for the next five years, until the next tournament. He was assigned the weapon type, "Hands."

Randy proved to be the most elusive of the killers, only appearing on the families' surveillance when he killed G4M3R_K1D. This got the best of him when he stalked a local teenager who was protecting a young boy. The teen sneaked up on him and pushed him through a window. Randy was impaled on Leopold Strong's hammer, dying.

When the tournament ended, Randy's body couldn't be located to dispose of, although they marked him as dead anyway.
