Sara is the protagonist of the series Juvenile. With her brother who never speaks she is confined to El Castillo, a kind of hospital for adolescents. When she meets a newcomer, Max, she realizes that the medications they are forced to take regularly may not be for their own good.

Sara and Max have gotten very close and allowed themselves to leave their room at night to see the stars, thanks to Max who made them levitate up to the ceiling. They were caught by security and the next day Max was isolated until he underwent brain surgery. This surgery consists of making them almost vegetable, or they must relearn how to talk, how to walk.

Sara would like to do something to save Max from the operation and has decided to gather everyone to tell them that they are not sick, but rather that they have powers like her. After proving to them what she can do with telekinesis and telepathy, she suggests that they stop taking their medication too.
