Satomi Sone is an Japanese American middle school teacher who never committed a crime in her life. However after her husband gambling addiction placed them in financial debt, Satomi used her newly acquired Radiant powers to become a bank robber.
After her brief tryst with criminality she turned herself into the authorities even becoming an ally to Radiant Black in order to defend Earth from the Catalyst invasion.
Powers and Abilities
Satomi came into to contact with a cosmic power source known as The Radiant. Radiant Red can absorb matter from almost anything she touches which she then uses for multiple purposes:
- Bulking: To increase her durability and strength. By bulking up she can enlargen and change her shape to a limited extent.
- Energy Projection: Radiant Red can blast powerful energy projectiles and create a energy construct armor.
- Energy Redistribution: Radiant Red can release absorb energy to empower fellow radiants.
- Healing: Can heal wounds and repair her suit by absorbing matter.
- Storage: Satomi can store absorbed materials in her suit such toxic chemical compounds.
