Spore was first seen in Astounding Wolf-Man. Spore was battling The Actioneers when Wolf-Man appeared. With Wolf-Man's aid they were ably to cut Spore's head and without Spore's head the rest of Spore was deafeated. With the combined might of Wolf-Man and The Actioneers Spore was defeated and sent to jail.
