Kumari is the Japanese Goddess of freshwater. She first appeared in " Ares" #6 (July, 2006). She allied with Poseidon in battle with Mikaboshi.

She has superhuman strength, able to lift c. 10 tons. She is extremely long-lived but not immortal to the level of the Olympians. She recovers from injuries at superhuman speed. Her stamina and physical abilities are far greater than those of mortal humans. She has the power to conjure water from water molecules and shape it into various forms such as waves or giant hands. She has some ability to affect the weather, mainly creating floods and summoning lightning bolts.
