Antu is a Babylonian-Akkadian goddess of the Earth and clouds, the latter of which was believed to be her breasts. She developed from the Sumerian Earth-goddess Ki and was conflated with Kishar, who was believed to represent the ends of the Earth. Her consort is the sky god Anu. Her Greek equivalent is Gaia and her Roman equivalent is Tellus Mater.
