The Persian god Ahriman used his magic to merge together a fire dragon, a storm dragon and a sea serpent. Naming the creature Azhi Dahaka, he sent the creature loose upon the world.
Zenescope
When merging the two dragons and the serpent, Ahriman didn't know the serpent was pregnant. Trapping it's child within a jewel, the voodoo priestess Acacia used it to force Azhi Dahaka to do her bidding.
