Although possessing no real superpowers, Captain Battle sets up a mountaintop laboratory where he develops various tools which he uses in his crusade:
A curvoscope, which allows him to see anywhere on earth.
The dissolvo gun - dissolvo being a "color concentrate, the vibrations of which melt down nerve and bone tissue into a gelatinous mass."
The Luceflyer - a jet backpack which allows him to travel at "near the speed of light."
Battle's first sidekick is Hale Battle; his second is named Kane.
Captain Battle, Jr., son of the great hero, works on his own to eliminate warfare, too.
