Blood Hunt

Eons ago the first vampire and demon Varnae steals adamantium ore that is protected by the Ennead deity Ptah, which he intends to forge a gate that will ascend him to godhood. One of the first Wakandans, a prisoner of Varnae, manages to steal the ore and flees the temple. She is killed by Varnae, an act witnessed by both Khonshu and Bast, who warns Khonshu that this land does not fall under the Ennead's protection. Khonshu protests that Varnae's plan is blasphemous and requires immediate retaliation, but eventually listens to Bast's sage wisdom to call a meeting between the Eastern Ennead and the Western Orisha.
Khonshu calls the meeting between the night gods of the surrounding realms - himself, Bast, Ghekre, Ptah, and Eshu - to forewarn them of Varnae's transgressions and his planned force of justice. Eshu does not agree to join the rest, now joined by fellow Orisha Kokou, on their quest of vengeance. However he does observe the four African deities assault The Temple of First Blasphemy and their destructive battle against Varnae. Enraged by the damage upon the land inflicted by the war, Eshu descends from the heavens and ends the conflict. In his judgment Eshu binds Kokou, Bast and Ptah to the land that shall become Wakanda, ordering them to treat this new territory with dignity and respect as its new pantheon.
