Geryon owned a large herd of prize redskin cattle, which were guarded by two-headed Orthrus. Orthrus is the spawn of Typhon and Echidna.

When the JLA is sent to Hell, Batman and Plastic Man meet Geryon. The DC version of Geryon does not have multiple heads but has four arms, wings and a tail. Geryon is also the demon in charge of the the circle of hell for frauds. Batman and Plastic Man are able to escape the circle of Hell by finding a glowing stone that teleports them away.
