God of Sleep, son of Nyx and her representative for all Earthly matters. Currently residing in Asgard.

Hypnos is a son of Nyx/Nox, Goddess of the Night. He is often depicted alongside his brother and look-alike Thanatos (Death). Hypnos is said to have mated with Pasithea, one of the Charites (Graces). Their sons were Morpheus (God of Dreams), Phobetor (God of Nightmares), and Phantasus (A deity providing the scenery for both dreams and nightmaresmetimes considered a God of Imagination. )

Marvel's interpretation of Hypnos first appeared in Avengers: No Road Home #2, and was co-created by writers Al Ewing, Mark Waid and Jim Zub alongside artist Joshua James Shaw.
The Wheel Turns

With Nyx now residing as ruler of the realm of dark, the Night Mother has appointed her truest child Hypnos as her representative on Earth. The All-Father Thor has welcomed Hypnos as an Olympian diplomat to reside in Asgard, alongside fellow Olympians Hercules and Athena.
