Lucie Manette
Lucie Manette is the main female character of the novel "A Tale of Two Cities" (1859) by Charles Dickens. She was born c. 1757 in France but moved to Great Britain as an infant. In 1775 she learned her father Dr. Alexandre Manette was imprisoned in France and set out to rescue him.
